Weight loss is all about eating the right amount of the right things, this is how your body stays fit and healthy. 
You may think the easiest way to lose weight is to just not eat; starve, say for example you wanted to lose 2 pounds in a couple of days so you don't eat until you lose that 2 pounds. But the first time you eat after you lose the 2 pounds, you will probably eat so much, as your body would be lacking desperately needed glucose(sugar), for respiration (how you get energy), you will probably gain the 2 pounds back and a little more! Also, as levels of glucose would be low, energy levels would be low so you would struggle to exercise, or even, if starved long enough), struggle to do everyday tasks.


Starving or not, water is essential, without it you can only last up to a week starving, but, starving with water, you can survive for those crucial extra days. 
But STARVING, WITH OR WITHOUT WATER IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
